Lingerie: 5 Tips to Mismatch Your Underwear Without Complex

If the trend "mix & match" is well known with swimsuits, it remains less assumed lingerie. Untying her underwear can be sexy though. Here are some rules to follow!

Granted, some sexy lingerie models are nicer when matched. This is particularly the case of highly worked lace sets that are very delicate to mismatch. Nevertheless, most of the pieces mix perfectly (trend "mix & match") if you respect a spirit of style and material. Similarly, color mixing is allowed provided that they are complementary.

1. Mix styles
In this area, it's mostly a question of logic. Let's be honest: all women have a little panties fetish (cotton?). Although she is super comfortable, it's hard to make her sexy, even with a nice bra.

So leave it in the closet and sort rather light and ultra-feminine models. For example, for a casual style, wear a triangle bra without frame with high-waisted pants to mark your shape.

For a more sophisticated look, a basket bra with a low waist tanga reveals your strengths and put your chest and buttocks in value.

You can also mix the cuts to emphasize one or the other part of your body. For example, if you want to bring out your chest, opt for a basket bra, and hide your buttocks with seamless panties to avoid demarcations.

Finally, if on the contrary, you want to bring out your size or your buttocks, opt for a bandeau or triangle bra and high-waisted panties, a thong or a low-rise tanga.

2. Soft Matter
This may seem odd to you, but some materials mix very well, provided you stay in a similar style. For a casual side, mix cotton with microfiber. For a more glamorous result, bet instead on noble materials that play on transparency. So think of matching silk with tulle or simple lace.

3. How to match the colors?
As with clothing, it's important to remember a simple rule: light colors are worn higher in the upper body to illuminate the complexion, and dark colors at the ladies bottoms to refine the silhouette.

Likewise, mix the colors according to their complementarity. Blue associates with orange, red with green, violet with yellow or white with black. And do not forget that the trend of the year 2018 is to mix pink and pastel blue, Dixit Pantone and the creators!
Finally, you can also opt for shades of colors. Combine, for example, a fleshy bra with pink panties, a purple bra with purple panties.

4. And the reasons, we mix them?
Of course, the patterned underwear can also be mismatched, but be careful to stay there in style and a similar material to avoid missteps. So matcha tulle polka dot bra with plain tulle panties or even a Liberty printed microfiber bra with polka dot panties of the same material. As for the leopard, zebra or crocodile motifs, we prefer to match them with a plain piece.

5. Aim for details
Finally, if you are not very comfortable with the "mix & match", refer to the details to mend your lingerie. A little knot, straps, a pattern, everything is good to match uncomplicated bra with cheap panties, a thong or a different tanga. For example, a white bra with a small black bow is perfect with black panties: the small node serves as a reminder. Likewise, a bra with Liberty straps is beautifully paired with flower panties.
